Yang classes include many of the basic yoga poses with emphasis on ensuring students feel confident, strong and safe in each of the poses and to know that they are not in competition with anyone else. Many modifications are also offered to give students the options to either go a little easier on themselves or, if they wish, to challenge themselves. We need to listen to what our body is telling us. Every practice we attend we may be feeling different and we need to honor our body and emotions at that time. This 1 hour practice incorporates a warm up, flow, standing poses, seated poses and relaxation at the end.
